I know it's a bit early but I'm happy to announce that I've lost 4 pounds since I started skating! I now weigh: 210 Also, I'm glad it isn't my birthday on Feb 29th.

No, that's nowhere near slow... Don't let the numbers you see on The Biggest Loser throw you. Steady, healthy weight loss is about 1-2lbs per week, with a bit of a bump right at the beginning (what you're seeing now). Don't get discouraged if you don't continue to see those numbers week after week.
