Hey guys! My name is Heather- and I live in GA (Yay for AWA!).
Recently, I decided to weigh myself- because I found that I was beginning to gain more and more weight. I started weighing myself at about 170lbs. So I said "I'll diet. It will be easy." ... a few months later... I was at 180, then 190. I was dreading the big 200 number, but eventually, I reached it. That is what I am currently at now...
I have been doing better recently, though. Within the last few months, I have stopped drinking soda entirely. (I was drinking roughly 5-7 a day. ) I started trying the Lean Cuisine recently- to see if it was bearable... Good news for me, it is =3 ... Now, I eat it for lunch at work, and I am planning on going on a strict diet these next few weeks. Cereal (or something) in the morning, a Lean Cuisine for lunch, and I plan on eating healthier for dinner... And I am throwing away all of those oreos that I keep eating and replacing them with carrots (I love carrots- lol ).
I have trained myself lately to think twice about eating that candy bar... It has worked alright so far. I have gone from 3-4 a day to MAYBE one of these a day, but I have not lost any weight as of yet from these, but I have prevented myself from gaining more.
My next step in my weight-loss journey is the exercise. I made a deal with my mom- that I would try her tae-bo if she would do DDR with me every day. (I do it on the controller all the time x.x Its not a matter of reading the arrows- its moving TO them.) At this moment, I can do some standard songs (which is good, for my weight at this time).. and my little sister plays as well.
Hopefully, I will be able to shed off a few pounds- by adding this, the tae-bo, and the dieting. =3
