If you want to lose a pound week, I think it's a god idea to deficeit 500 calories a day through healthy diet and exercise. You should be eating around 1600-1800 calories a day I think. Try Doing about half an hour a day of DDR (make sure you get out of breath ect) at least, but give your self one or two days where you don't, to let your muscles rest. You may find you gain after a month or so, but that's most likey muscle, so all's good =)

well... ddr is cardio, not strength training... so you can actually do it every day at a high intensity and it will help you to loose weight. You don't have to worry about muscle healing time... unless of course you are new and feel that throbbing pain in your calves after a day of intense ddr, then, yes let it heal. Just listen to your body.

Not bad, a good, solid, low calorie meal plan. The real question is: Is this something you can stick with? It can be the best diet plan in the world, but if you can't stick with it, it'll do you no good.

Well you have to understand that while you go to BK and Chinese places...there are fast food resturaunts that have healthier choices. Wendy's has many many salads...you just have to look for them. Don't beat urself up for eating out...just be concious of what it is you're ordering.

Be conscious of what you're eating INDEED, and that INCLUDES marketed healthy choices from fast food chains. Wendy's is actually pretty good as long as you stay away from fatty salad dressings... most salads max out around 400 cal which is a descent meal. Their plain baked potato is another good choice. Most places do have healthy choices but beware the supposed healthy salads.
For instance:
Taco Bell, Taco Salad with Salsa: 840 cal 80 carbs 45 fat 30 protein
Taco Bell Zesty Chicken Border Bowl 640 cal 60 carbs 35 fat 22 protein
McDonald's salads are okay if you make sure and get grilled chicken and watch the dressing - go for low fat/fat free or you're boosting those calories again. McDonald's has nutrition info posted in the restaurant for easy access so this will help you make an appropriate selection.

Most of those calories come from fat though. Just keep that in mind.

Yeah - beware of "crispy" anything. Red flag for fat calories!

yea but this is what i do every weekday do my workout DDR routine 500 cal. then eat a cup of ramen noodles and then i sleep doesnt sound very healthy doesnt it? i want ur opinions haha. yea...ramen. ramen....ramen.... I've lived off that stuff before. Many times. Or..how about the all rice diet. (eep...that was the point in my life when I was the most malnourished, to the point some friends actually came over to my place and brought a bag of vegetables and other food for me, because I was really sick. Literally only being able to afford the rice. Lame California min wage and high living costs!) That was way BEFORE I'd even heard of DDR though (and totally off topic). I would steer away from the seasonings in top ramen. Try to get some veggies to add to it. Ever seen the picture on the packets of it, they'll have some veggies in the ramen. They're pretty good ideas, if u're not sure which veggies to add. Maybe get some other seasoning. I used to add soy sauce. But yea... Try adding some fruit and dairy in your weekday diet. "an apple a day" lol. and...maybe heh..some other food too. I hope u're not spending your food money on DDR games at the arcade. *looks away really fast* heh....heh....*runs out of the room* ~Fharyn~

[125 calories] Some people believe substituting water for every drink is a good idea so you don't have any caloric intake from liquids. You can then add another ingredient to your meal or just drop those calories altogether. Multivitamins also help to ensure you get your daily vitamins and minerals even when on a diet.
