I recently read in 'womans own' that people who constantly fidget, can burn an extra 350 calories a day. I looked up on google some more information, and found that foot tapping is the most energy exerting. Of course, this would have to be most the day to add up to a larger amount of calories. www.buzzle.com/editorials/8-26-2005-75557.aspfindarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0675/is_2_17/ai_54286963Of course, this shouldn't replace cardio exercise, but it's a nice addition to add to a work out. It can help you drop 20-30 extra pounds a year if you fidgeted everyday. What do you think?

You have to weigh that against the number of people who will kill you for the constant foot tapping.

I was also reading something interesting this summer that made me think of this little tidbit: If a person stands all day instead of sitting, they'll burn a calorie a minute. Now... add up the totals for a day, and that's not a bad number. Always something to keep in mind...

^That was another thing I read; leaner people typically stand for an extra 2 hours a day.

That means I could move/fidget all day long, and help with weight lose and maintaining a healthy balance in weight. Whoo! Time to drive my French teacher nuts, if we tap in my French class she makes up take off our shoes and continue doing it. Time for some finger drum solos!
