Hi, new to the forum, i just got back on DDR after weighing in at 305, first week i already got down to 296. however its been like 2 weeks and the weight seems to just stay at 296, im probably just overreacting and need to give it more time but is this common for it to stick at some points?

yeah. It will do that. The dreaded and de-motivating plateau. We all go through it. And it can break your spirit at times, but it will pass. Just remain confident and stick to your healthy choices and exercising. You will come down again.

Also, when you lose a large amount of weight quickly your body will basically say "Oh sh*t!" and try to compensate for the weight loss. That's why most of the time medical experts recommend about 2-4 lbs a week, keeps the plateus away. BUT... weight loss isn't a bad thing, so keep on truckin.'
