i got obsesed when i bought ddr max(2 years ago) i just couldnt stop playing!!!!

My addiction started when I went to this lame church gaming party with my friend. Some guys brought DDR, and one of them totally pwned it, and the other one was playing really well himself. I was shocked and amazed. I didn't even get to play it that night, but then I had an insane itching urge to. Then I found out that one of my friends had it, and so I set up my own gaming party and made him bring it. From the moment I stepped on the mat, I knew I had to have it. So I went out, bought a PS2 and Extreme ( and it even came with two piece of crap dance mats O.o ), and it's all been history since then. :-). ( That was like... back in March ).

I dunno... I played it at my cousins' house in Wisconsin, and decided to buy it... and I play it and have fun while playing.

I've been playing DDR for the past few years and I never considered myself "obsessed" with it. I play a lot, yeah, but...mehhhh.

And the DDR thing all started when I decided to put my quarters into the newest flashy, music blaring machine addition of my local arcades instead of Guilty Gear. Yep.

OMG Guilty Gear!!!!! Great game...but yeah, I was obsessed with DDR for a while, but as of late, I have been extremely busy and do not have time to go to the arcade on campus to play. (and I had my PS2 taken away as motivation for school...what motivation that was...)

I'm not obsessed. I mean, sure, my car CD player is usually loaded with a CD of tracks from my StepMania collection, and I own no fewer than 5 Dance game mats. Sure, I've got over 10 Dance games for my PS2, and I'm the moderator of an online dance game community, but I'm not obsessed.

The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem ;-). If you want recovery... and for DDR, you don't .

And to havix--Guilty Gear arcade is indeed a good game! I cannot wait for the PSP game to come out this Christmas. *squeal!*
