A few people at our school have picked up what was formerly 'gay/drag', then 'emo', and are trying to make it more common - wearing girls' pants. It started with this dude taller than me, like 6'4", who wears a SIZE ZERO. that likes 24-25 inches  so.... inhuman... his head is twice bigger than his buttocks! now there is this little freshmen kid who wears a size 1-2 (more reasonable) butthey are capris (hey, whatever floats your boat) and more people are picking it up, because all the 30 and down waist folk like the really tight look (apparently.) Now, I was wondering if there is a solid conversion chart for women's wait size compared to inches (SOLID!) for... uh... reasons.  And what do you think of that? I don't care if they do but I couldn't wear something so... restricting... |

I'm not sure what the conversion is... but I know quite a few guys who do the girls pants thing... it doesn't bother me. Hey I wear guys pants a lot after all....

A little trick I use, which may not at all be acurate, but works for getting a general idea is to minus 10-11 inches. So if your waist is 30 inches, you're a 9 or a ten, depending on the brand. Of course, things get a bit tricky as you go down, as a waist of 25 is a 0, not a five. I guess its every half inch, a different size.

Yeah... I guess that guys wearing girls pants is really IN and SCENE right now.
One of my [maybe] good friends decided that just to let people know what kind of music he listens to he would wear girl pants every day and some stupid band shirt.
I've seen a lot of the girl pants thing, and I am sick of this stupid little emo trend.

omg I still don't know how to define emo - I've heard 80 different answered and 10000 different styles. I'm done. I declaire emo does not exist. there. omg let guys wear girlie pants and let girls wear ties and wtf who cares ... umm... yeah.

I wear a tie, but it's not because of music O.o. I do know a few guys that wear girls' pants, but that's always been kind of weird to me, because girls' pants are typically tight, and I like the baggy style :-). More comfortable in my opinion. And I'm going to have to agree with that emo thing. I couldn't classify emo music if it was blaring in my ears. It's all too different.

So. Last night. Went to Target while friends applied for a job there. Got bored. And now I don't see how I've been wearing guy's jeans for so long. They feel so baggy now! I need to get some cash and pick me up a new pair of jeans I fit in a 12-14 comfortably, depending on brand, but my goal is to be a 31-32 waist so about a size 10 in the end |

I think I would probably get tired of having baggy pants all the time. I like my pants loose fitting at the top, but baggy around the calves. I don't like jeans that cling to my knees, but I don't want them to be baggy up in the thigh area either. I don't like them tight, but I don't like them baggy. As a result, I love most girls' jeans  . |

There were guys on the music tour I went on this last summer that were wearing girls pants and they would be like "my jeans are smaller than yours" to the girls, the ones who were like the same bod type. This craked me up, but what was even more funny was when one of the girls in my group wore the same pair of jeans as one of the guys. That was funny. She was all hey I have the exact same pair of jeans.
