hello all. just wanted to check in. i've been kind of ghosting it around here for a little while, and figured i might as well "join."
i have the foam pads for ps2 which are MUCH better than the regular mats my brother and i used a few years back, as i'm sure you all know. i've been trying to get in some kind of workout at least 3x a week. when i get to ddr, i can manage an hour before i'm pooped.
i'm so glad i found ddr as an exercise method because this is the only thing i've ever done that works me up a sweat! i hate to jog/run (i found out this weekend that my endurance has diminished--i can only manage to jog half a lap now :.() bc i always feel like it's such a waste of time. i dont feel tired, i dont sweat, i just have a hard time breathing later. but with DDR, i'm drenched by 30 mins. i love it. i just hope i can keep with it. i have a tendency to quit things out of laziness.
glad to meet you!

Welcome! I'm a newbie here to, so don't worry. And I'm the exact same way. I really don't have much focus for much of anything. Exercising conventionally has always been sucky. I've found that, (after 3 weeks of DDR,) my cardio endurance has been raised and I can jog a mile almost. I partner my exercise with Yourself!Fitness, Kinetic and AntiGrav. It's an amazing work out that's AMAZINGLY effective. I've lost alot on it. And for my diet, I read the back of a Special K box. Good luck! And feel free to talk if you need any support .

Hey! I'm a new girl too, but I've been posting like crazy today since I've been doing little lol. Yeah, about the running--it's weird how I stopped running for three years (but kept playing DDR on standard-heavy) and was able to run 4 miles without stopping! Woooo! ^^
