Instead of buying canned soup, I just get chicken broth and beef broth, then I buy my own veggies like carrots, baby spinach and celery to boil in it and eat as soup, it tastes really good and I'm assuming its much better for you? I know the sodium is high, but for beef broth I get the reduced sodium, but not for the chicken as I feel it tastes weird Oo. Anyones opinions?

Sounds good to me. Personally I'd throw a bit of chopped onion and some seasoning (some poultry bouquet, or possibly a little tabasco and black pepper if I'm looking for a kick), but that's purely a personal taste preference. I guarantee your homemade soup is worlds better for you than canned. Some zucchini/yellow squash and or canned chopped tomatoes are also good additions.

making your own is more than likely much better. i knew a lot of weight watchers people who would flavor things with chicken broth instead of butter.
