Hi everyone, I'm 22, and have been overweight since elementary school, I'm currently 204 lbs. My current goal is 150. I have already lost 21 lbs by only changing my diet, but I have been at a standstill for about a month, so I decided it was time to start exercising. The problem was that it's a pain to go to the gym with a 2 yr old, and it sure isn't fun. I just got my DDR and dance pad yesterday. It's so much fun, I have spent 45 minutes 'playing' already today, and I plan on another 30-45 later tonight. I'm so excited! Any tips and info that might be useful for a "ddr for weight loss" beginner would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hey there! Welcome to the boards...although, I'm new too... ^^;
As for any tips for DDR weight loss, just keep it consistent and try to keep it challenging. Maintain a challenging but steady pace for anywhere from 30 minutes to 60 minutes everyday, and that'll burn a considerable amount of calories.
Also, make sure your diet is also consistent. Get your veggies. They're awesome. They are like nutritional supermen. Not only are they fiberous and filling, many of them contain important nutrients that range from preventing cancer to improving your central nervous system's performace, etc., etc., etc.
Otherwise, good job on already losing 21 lbs! Diet is usually the hardest for people to control, but you seem to have that down. Good luck on getting down to your goal; I'm sure you'll do well. ^^
