I bought DDR, and enjoy it a great deal. I have played every now and again since I bought it, however, now I am going to play it for a purpose. My purpose: to lose 50 pounds by august. Crazy, and unrealistic I know...but I need to lose as much weight as I can over June and July. I currently weight 204 pounds, and I was wondering if anybody had any tips, advide, or whatever concerning my crazed quest to be thinner.

There's a ton of tips right here in these threads. Read, read, read, and soon you'll find yourself awash in ideas. Regular exercise is one key, it'll kick your metabolism up (your MTB kicks up for about 24 hours after a good workout, so you can keep your body burning calories around the clock). A good diet is the second. Restrict calories, but not too much (Keep your body out of cling to your fat survival mode).
Remember that the body is driven by stimulus response. Apply the right stimulii, and your body *will* respond.

I also wanted to lose 40 pounds in 4 months but it didnt happen. What did happen was I lost 15 pounds and felt great about it, and kept on doing it.
if you dont reach your goal wieght dont let it discourage you, it'll come off over time.

50 pounds that fast is teh tuffzorz, set 2 pounds a week minimum because that seems to be a nice steady rate from what i hear. You can see in my sig how I've been doing, and actually what ive been doing is taking fat% times my weight, then my weight minus that number to see my base weight or something like that, and my base weight times 10 is how much [calories] I metabolize a day. So I right around that. I've heard you don't want to go under that amount or then your body will take carbs from muscles to feed your body Anyways good luck i wish you the best, we have around the same goals....
