I know you probably get a lot of topics like this but I figure I might as well give it a shot... I try to DDR for at least 30 minutes a day, usually on standard with freeze off and the works, I'm not too good. It's been tough with my dad in the hospital to keep it up. I drink as much water as I remember to, so not that much. I try to keep my unhealthy foods low, and I've been working on eating better, but my parents aren't too good on buying healthy. It doesn't help that breakfast is at 6am and lunch is at 1, the school food is terribly unhealthy, I know I should eat something between them but since I'm diabetic I'd have to do a shot and there's no time for that. I've lost 20 pounds since I got it back in the beginning of 2003 but I've gained about 10 since november and i hope it was just from no marching band and the winter, etc. I guess I should mention I'm 170 5'5 and 15 years old. So anything I should add, suggestions for fooding (summer is coming soon=more home time=more chance I'll eat) etc? My goal is to get down to 125-130 within the next year or faster.

I'd recommend setting your goal weight a little higher. When I was growing up, I was 5'6" and 135lbs, and I was a stick of a person with no muscle mass. For you, I'd recommend at least 135-140 as a goal.
As for sugestions for the summer, make sure you get outside a bit. Yes, DDR is a great exercise, but so is walking, bike riding, skating, playing basketball, swimming, etc, etc. Keeping your exercise fun and varied will keep you doing it, and will have a better effect on your body.
Mid-day food with diabetes, huh? That's a tough one, since I don't have a lot of knowlege about Type I diabetes. You might mention it to your doctor the next time you're in to see him/her.

Yeah technically I should eat more often, both because I believe in eating a lot in tiny parts, and because it's better for diabetes, but my school schedule and home schedule neither allow for it or would warrant it. I think my biggest problem is that my friends that are active are only active at school sports and spend their free time doing what I do all the time (sitting around) and my friends that aren't active aren't ever active, so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place here. I hate doing stuff by myself :/

I think my biggest problem is that my friends that are active are only active at school sports and spend their free time doing what I do all the time (sitting around) and my friends that aren't active aren't ever active, so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place here. I hate doing stuff by myself :/ I use to feel the same way about working out by myself. But....I have found that it's a lot easier to go solo. I go to my apartment's fitness center everynight by myself....while working out I notice that most of the people there who participate in group work-outs tend to be sitting around talking the whole time....with an occasional 1 minute walk on the treadmill. My suggestion to you: Just go out and work it! It does'nt sound like who have too much weight to lose....so just try to get out there 2,3,or 4 times a week. Put on some headphones and listen to music....like abrannan said, you can go walking, bike riding, or even skating. Very good activities for a solo work-out.
