Well, it turns out I now weigh in at 220 lbs., I just checked. I'm never exactly going to be as light as a feather and healthy at the same time - my dad has a bodybuilder-ish build, his dad did, so on and so forth. I was burned out on anything that involved video games for a while... I have been playing DDR for almost 3 years now, mainly for fun and my love of music, but now that I weighed in at 220 (I used to be 180) I have decided to take it more seriously. I am aiming to lose 30 pounds, no set time, just want to see what habits work for me. Here's what I do: I normally play DDR 30-90 minutes a day regardless. I love it. (I can play every 9 footer- can't do MAX300, ever ) For breakfast, I always eat SOMETHING. Normally some Granola bars from the school breakfast, muffin, etc. For lunch, I have been getting a bottle of water and a chicken salad (grilled) from the lunchroom. We have the option of hamburgers, fries, pizza, etc. (lucky high school heh) and I think I was too lax on my own health and fitness. For dinner, I normally don't eat that much, just something to get me by. We don't eat out often. I turn 15 this June, June 4th. This seems like a very nice site, everyone here seems very wise/kind so I hope we get along. I hope my plan is good, what do you think?

It's really good that you've set a goal for yourself. I myself am trying to lose 20-25lbs and i want to lose it by july. Its difficult sometimes, but after a while of eating healthier and drinking mainly water, its like you crave things like salad and water and veggies n fruits. Its really nice to crave such healthy foods. I think your plan sounds pretty good. The larger lunch, smaller dinner idea is really good, since you can use up more of the calories from lunch during your daily activities. My only real suggestion is try having more snacks, like veggies, to help keep your metabolism going, and of course because it's good for you. good luck!
