Welcome and good for you!!! And don't underestimate the power of DDR. You will probably lose weight by doing DDR, too!
Good luck and keep us posted!

I don't know where you heard that, but it seems to be a bit much. I think the maximum amount is around a gallon, spread out over the day. Most sources will tell you either 64 oz a day, 64 oz +8 oz per 25 lbs. overweight you are, or 1/2 an ounce per pound you have. I'd say shoot for at least 64 ounces, since some other foods and drinks will have water in them, too. Anyway, good luck on your weight loss. The healthy amount of weight to lose in a week is 2 pounds, though don't be surprised if you lose a little more the first few weeks. Still, I think you're shooting a little bit high. Just do your best, and try not to obsess over scale numbers. Go by how you feel.

Hi Melmo,
Welcome and good luck!
I have Binge eating issues as well and id be happy to message with you about it if you want to (it helps to talk about it). Since you have such limited time to eat b/w classes, id suggest mainly sticking to fruit and stuff like that. One food that works for me is Pumpkin seeds WITH the shell. The shell is edible, though most people dont eat it, but it provides lots of fiber and it fills you up too. These tips may or maynot work for you, they do for me cause i'm more of a snacker than a meal person. Besides ddr, my cardio is rollerblading (which i sincerely love - even more than ddr) its low impact (important for large breasted women, great transportation and going fast is the BIGGEST thrill!) though oh yeah, you live in the bay area, which is notorious for its hills so...rollerblading mightn not be best.
