Some one told me eating boiled eggs will help you loose wieght is this true?

Well, I imagine that if all you ate were boiled eggs, you wouldn't be able to eat enough to get your BMR in calories each day, so you'd lose weight. I've never heard of boiled eggs as the miracle weight loss food though.
Boiled eggs do tend to have fewer calories than other methods of preparing eggs, mostly due to preparation method (you don't need to grease a pan to boil an egg). But the difference only comes out to about 25 calories per egg, so I don't see this as a master method of weight loss.

0 in the whites, 200mg in the yolks, with a slight lean towards HDL ("good" cholesterol). Yolks also contain a lot of Vitamin A, B, Iron and Riboflavin.

The incredible edible egg...
They have some of each type of the proteins your body needs and can't produce. And big ones are something like 70 calories.
The trick with eating hard boiled eggs to lose weight is that they make you feel really full, really fast.
They naturally have "omega 3" so if you're into omega 3, you can rejoice. But- they do have a lot of cholesterol...
So if you slice one up and put it on your whole-grain lettuce, tomato, and egg sandwich, have skim milk to avoid even more fat, and you're set for lunch! Just avoid other foods containing (primarily LDL-bad stuff) cholesterol when you decide its an egg day.
Seriously though, they do have a magical ability to make you feel full really fast.

I eat 2 hard boiled eggs a day. It's a great no carb snack.

hehe, eggs have alot of fat, I have alot fat, therefore I must be an egg. ^_^ I know it was corny but it's almost 2 AM for me and I thought that that thought was kinda funny.

Hrm, I didn't know they had all those vitamins and filled you up fast. Makes me wish I liked eggs. Can't even stand looking at 'em though.
