Okay, so I'll ask my doctor at my next appointment, but that isn't for 2 months, so I'm asking here. Is it bad to loose weight quickly? I'm really not worried about rubber banding... my diet has been healthy for a while, and I'm dedicated to exercising now, even still when I get in shape.
Currently, especially since I started playing DDR, my weight has been going down consistently between 1 and 1.5lbs every morning when I weigh myself. So, even if I don't gain it back from losing it quickly, is this bad? Will it have any effect that losing it quickly wouldn't... like, excess loose skin or something? Thanks in advance if anyone knows.

It's really hard to say. When I started the South Beach diet, I was dropping about 1-1.5 a day for the first two or three weeks, but then it tapered off. I have no extra skin to speak of, and over time, my average weight loss per week settled to about 2 lbs per week. Other people have different experiences. I'd say that as long as you're still eating healthy, and enough food (at least 1100 calories per day), you're not likely to cause damage over the short term before your appointment. However, as with all things weight-loss, if you're concerned, ask a doctor or other medical professional.

I've found that it's better to just weigh myself once a week. Then I don't get excited (or depressed) by those little daily fluctuations. You get a clearer picture when you weigh yourself once a week.

I say just hide the damn scale. We all worry about it too much. Except, I haven't been able to weigh myself since January. And I started dieting then. I get to weigh myself march 16, when i come home from college.
