hey everybody. Lately ive noticed that some people who gain muscle have it on all the time, whereas some people must flex to show it. Y is this? I'm assuming that people who have it on all the time are stronger and better conditioned, but Ive seen some people who have to flex and still end up being stronger. Can anyone explain how this works? or what the difference is between the two? Thanx Everyone!

Robert Jordan fan (re: your username)?
I'm not completely sure I understand your question, but if your'e talking about definition, it's mostly related to Body Fat percentage. Poeple who have less body fat tend to show better muscle definition, since there's less subcutaneous fat for the muscles to show through. Also, muscle size does not necessarily correspond to greater strength. I've seen guys who have a very lean runner's frame outlift huge, bulky, linebacker looking guys. There are a lot of components to strength, and muscle size is only one of them.

i think i kno wut you're saying... think. And the reason is their muscle shows more cuz its not completely covered lol. Depending upon skin tone and body fat to body muscle ratio the muscle just appears bigger. Also USAULLY active overweight ppl have more muscle becuz they need it to handle their extra weight. As you lose weight your muscle decreases to adjust to your weight.
I hope i kinda answered your question? lol
