i have tried to do the ddr diet thing for quite a while now... at one time i lost about 10 lbs and was feeling so very proud of myself but then as it went on my legs started hurting and the songs seemed repetitive. right now i can do standard mode and if i start playing i usually wont quit till a couple hours later. i think i'd be alright with a ddr diet and i'd like to try again but how can i keep from feeling like its a hassle to get on the pads every day and to keep away from my beloved mayonaise! i really need help...i want to lose weight so bad. i want to feel better and have more energy. not to mention look good in a pair of ufo pants.

I don't quite get the Mayo thing. Personally, I can't stand the stuff. So here are my recommendations. If you can tolerate it, try to move to fat-free mayo. If you just can't do it (and do try, I couldn't stand diet soda for the longest time, and now it's fine), then you'll have to make sure you cut back on other foods to counterbalance the extra calories you're getting from the mayo. Life's like that, you have to make sacfirices to get what you want.
As far as DDR goes, playing a couple hours at a time is the fastest way to burn yourself out. Limit yourself to an hour, but make that hour count. If you want to keep playing at the end of that hour, that's good, but make yourself stop. You want to keep that feeling of wanting to play to urge you on.

That tip of keeping you wanting more is a very good one. Which I didnt realize but ya, I use to play everyday for the last 2 weeks for like an hour or more at a time. You do get burned out on it. Since last weekend I didnt play it for at all weekend and piggied out cause of it. I just got done playing it an hour ago... and it great again.. but wanting more is a way to go. THanks for that tip.
I know its winter, but if you can find another form of exercise that ( exrecise at gym, jog, lift light wieghts inside) changes it up a bit would help. But thats can get hard to keep doing.
I also Think a good way of keeping motovation is also remebering about what you wanted to lose the wieght in the first place. And get sort of real angry what would happen if something got in th way of that, so you can put down that last pie. Fueling the fire so to speak what ever sparks that fire. Thats what my Bros says any who. hes lost 80 pounds so I believe em. Hope this helps.
Yes Im newer so dont look down on me too much.
