hey, I was wondering, I read some where that DDr mainly keeps pounds coming off, (with some diet ) but does it where you are taking off alot of water weight, but as soon as you drink more water a day then before, it fluxates up like a dog.
I was courous about this when I gained three pounds in one day, when the day before I drank 4 bottles of water and 3 cups , which is more then my usally 5 cups a day. (It aint to healthy.) I also didnt drink as much today and I noticed it went back down. I dont know for sure if this was water or what? Any info would be nice. (Remended me of the old atkins days.)

Three to 5 pounds of weight fluctuation in a day is not abnormal. There are a lot of factors that can influence daily weight. Food in your stomach/intestines, water weight (Both in your muscles and in your bladder/stomach/etc), can all play into your weight. I fidn that when I cheat and have a large meal, my weight can fluctuate up three pounds, but over the next day or so, the weight comes off as the food passes through my system. Does that mean I gained three pounds of fat and then burned it off? Of course not. Just as with blood pressure, individual readings can vary a lot. Only by tracking a moving average can you really get a sense for overall weight loss.
To sum up, if you're worrying about 3 pounds, you'll drive yourself crazy.

I fluxuate 10lbs from when I am completely full to completely empty. I drink a lot of water though. And drinking too much water is never bad for you, unless you drown.

Which actually can happen on land. It's most common in people who have been taking Ecstasy. They feel thirsty, so they drink, and drink, and drink. Eventually they saturate their body with so much liquid that they can cause their brain to swell. Since the E is upping their serotonin levels, they don't recognize the danger they're in, or when to stop drinking.

Eventually they saturate their body with so much liquid that they can cause their brain to swell. Since the E is upping their serotonin levels, they don't recognize the danger they're in, or when to stop drinking. The other thing that happens to these unfortunate kids is that they dilute important chemicals in their bodies to the point of uselessness, so their bodily functions start to break down. Also, not to be a nitpick, but E doesn't actually "up" your serotonin levels . . . think of it more as your brain is a sponge with a predetermined amount of serotonin. What Ecstacy actually does is squeeze a bunch of the serotonin out of your brain, leaving it with a severe deficiency. That's why people who use Ecstasy commonly have a period after use that's known as E-depression. Serotonin deficiencies have been linked to clinical depression. On the opposite side, people on E can forget to drink water, and their bodies overheat to the point where they can die (like having a fever over 108 degrees). This is more common, and most likely what you've seen on the news when someone ends up in the hospital b/c of Ecstasy. Makes you think twice about trying it, doesn't it. UJKitten
