Hi everyone, my names Alex and I'm 18. It's been 2 years since I first began playing DDR USA at a local gameworks in my hometown of Miami, FL. When I first started playing I was a good 220 pounds. The first months I began playing my weight plummeted, I went down to 180 pounds. I stopped playing for awhile and then jumped back on the wagon and went down to 160. Now i've been playing rigorously, because it feels as if I'm in a weight stump. I havnt been seeing any progression whatsoever. I'm looking to get down to 130-140 pounds, because I have a very small stature. I'm a good 5'4. For the past 3 weeks i've been playing Ultramix/Workout Mode/Heavy for half an hour a day. My diet consists of no sugar and 3 square meals a day. I'm thinking of boosting up the playtime to an hour maybe an hour and a half a day, a lean breakfast, and a square lunch. Any advice on how to keep this wheel turning? This is the only pic I have at my current weight.

Good job with the weight loss! I might be new at playing ddr but I have worked with a trainer in the gym for over a year now as well as a nutrionist. I have found that most of his clients, including me, have lost weight faster if instead of eating 3 meals a day, eat 6 small meals or one small meal every 3 -4 hours. I was losing about 8 lbs a month and once I started doing this, I lost an average of 13-15lbs a month. Hope this helps. =o)

Personally I feel you are doing very well! I would NOT worry about a number on a scale. You are eating 3 squares, exercising, feeling good....so why mess it up by trying to do more exercise than you need or play with less food. INSTEAD go by how you feel and how your pants feel. Keep in mind that muscle is denser than fat and will weigh more. Its hard to tell from your position but you look good to me. I disagree wth Jennie on the mini-meals. Though I feel min-meals work for some..for others it turns into a free for all eating all day thing INSTEAD if you really feel you still need to lose cut calories BY eating volumetrically. That means add lots of water rich foods (not water) to your diet. So you will eat foods like vegetables and fruit that have a lot of water and fill you up but are low calorie. You will feel full but you will be eating less calories. Eat soups and salads I would absolutely NOT advice you to go overboard ..you are doing fine..so stick with it.
