You play ddr to see any results? I usually do 30 mins of walking/jogging at the Y, but I want to throw in DDR as well, but how many days are "ok" 30 mins per 2 days a week? or 30 mins 3 days a week, then the other 2 days at the gym.
Also I have a good diet going on.

DDR is simply another form of cardiovascular exercise. Just use it in place of going to the gym. I'd recommend no less than three days a week, and no more than 6. So either one of your plans would work.
