;)hey everybody! well I am pretty much a n00b at ddr. I do pretty much everything good on standard and a lot on heavy (mostly in max2). I fit into that "fat but fit" category. I'm flexible, I can walk long distances, I can run uphill, and whatever else... but anyway, I'm not satisfied with my weight at all. I've been overweight pretty much all of my life, but it's never been a serious issue with me. however, now I'm 15 and I'm weighing 200 pounds (I'm about 5'8"-5'9") and I am eyeing those emily clothes in hot topic on a daily basis. also, I'm cosplaying at animeboston2005 in late april as excel from excel saga and bakura from yugioh. I really would love to be able to lose some weight, and it seems like ddr is a great option. I'm all set with going 30-60 minutes a day like during the week, but I'm not sure what I should change about my diet. cutting out soda and candy and other sugary sweet stuff. my mom has just been diagnosed with diabetes, so we have lots of whole wheat stuff in the house. I'm also getting her to buy us a new tea pitcher so I can brew myself a lot of green tea. I'm trying to drink more water and I am eating more salads than ever (no dressing except maybe a teeny bit of some homemade vinagrette). How long should I wait for results and do you guys have any more suggestions? Thanks for putting up with my n00bishness ^_^

I don't see anything n00b about you. You seem to have a good plan going. It's hard to say when you'll see results, as each person is different, but you're certainly on the right track!
