I was always skinny but after kids found I gained weight really quickly. I thought this was just me and maybe a few other ladies like me..
Then I saw the movie SUPERSIZE ME..the guy put on about 25 pounds in a month! It made me realize its not me..its what I put in my mouth!

Its very eye opening. I mean it gets gross...watching someone puke because they ate too many big macs is repulsive.. But seeing how they make the mcnuggets is not only repulsive its life changing..no more mcnuggets for me.
Yes definately watch it.

...if it tastes good, eat it.
I'm so through worrying about all the complicated things in life.
Wow, that was off-topic.

I was always skinny but after kids found I gained weight really quickly. I thought this was just me and maybe a few other ladies like me.. Then I saw the movie SUPERSIZE ME..the guy put on about 25 pounds in a month! It made me realize its not me..its what I put in my mouth! It's funny how we ourselves don't see how much we're gaining when we opt for the big mac or any junk food. He gained about 25 pounds in a month.. Imagine waking up one day and finding that you can't even get the jeans past your calves.. LOL.. Not good no matter how you look at it.. Just look at how easy it was for him to pack on that weight. For women who have gone through pregnancy, it's even easier to gain weight.. Everything in our body is trying to make it as comfortable for the fetus. Why is it that it's so hard to lose the weight after pregnacy? It's because our body has gone through so many changes. During and after pregnancy, our bodies ( still, lovely as ever) goes into storage mode. Getting into shape can be hard, but you will feel better This excerpt has been taken from www.parentsplace.com"what you need to do is increase your calorie consumption (to at least 1,500 calories, if not more) while simultaneously increasing the intensity and duration of your exercise. You also need to add some weight training to your program in order to build muscle. Muscle operates at a much higher metabolic rate than fat and so burns calories all day long. Not only that, it makes you feel terrific and helps to firm up those body parts that may have become a little lax during the past few months. Your exercise should consist of 30 to 60 minutes of sweat-producing, heart-pounding, deep-breathing aerobic activity as many days a week as possible (but at least four) and should include weight-lifting exercises for all major muscle groups at least three times a week."
