Hi there. I'm new to this forum and DDR (XBox). I bought it about 2 weeks ago, and I'm wondering if it's a good workout. I don't want to lose any weight, but so far I've been maintaining my weight and cardio fitness through kickboxing, step, aerobics etc. Will DDR help keep my weight down if I stop doing those other activities and just do DDR for the same amount of time-it's just way to much fun for me to go back to the gym.

Yeah same here I was going to the gym then i told myself DDR is alot funner plus it was alot closer. (in my room) I wanna get the DDR for xbox cause i want to play others online but until then I have stepmania. I might get the ultramix 2. Also how did u find this website? I thought they cut off the links?

The links are back, Jay. They were apparently just down for a day or two.
To answer the original question, yes, you can replace other cardio activity with DDR. The intensity is a bit different, so you may have to adjust your workout length to get the same results (especially depending on which level you play at).
