hi, ive been reading a bit on this forum, posted a couple times and I think this is the best forum ive been to esp for info and support which I could use. You see I now weigh 295lbs and i'm only 5'2 so it's kinda urgent for me to lose a bit of my weight. Ive got the onset of hypoglycemia now and if I stay this way it will only get worse from here on out pretty much.
Ive got DDRMAX2 so I try to do that for exercise when i'm not so tired after work but i'm only on beginner mode for now. Once I start playing it I can't hardly stop myself so I play till I really feel it which takes probably like an hour or so. (did I mention I love DDR) Ive got 2 pads for when I compete with my sister-in-law whom is like 12 years old and 200 lbs herself so it gets me and her active in a fun way.
I used to be a major cola drinker not long ago but since I realized my hypoglycemia Ive started drinking diet dr. pepper and I think it's helped a bit with my diet even though I know I should be drinking more water. I try to watch what I eat now but as I said in another post my schedule makes it hard to eat like normal people do. I get up at 3pm normally and don't go back to bed till about 4am or later, sometimes I stay up till 8am and get my sister-in-law off to school.
Usually I go to work an hour after I wake up and eat something on my first break which is 2 hours into my shift. Then a couple hours later I eat a can of soup or something not too terrible with crackers and after I get home around like 11pm i'm wanting to eat again and that kinda makes me feel guilty because people are always telling me it's bad to eat so late at night. whats your oppinions on that?
Is it better to stop eating at 8pm or okay if you have a nightowls schedule?
I used to go to the dietitian years ago when I had ballooned up to 261 and managed to lose down to 210 with a bit of yoyoing on the way. So... I kind of know how to do it and have an idea of portions sizes but it seems so hard to moderate myself these days.
I know that you don't like pills but I started taking weight smart one a day and it seems to be helping because i'm not as tired as I normally would be. I dunno if it's because it's a multivitamin besides a pepper upper but I think it will help me get motivated and not feel so sluggish.
Any advice you could give me is greatly appreciated.
