Take it ONE day at a time. Make small changes and think positively. If you try to do it all at once you may feel overwhelmed. Pick one thing each week to work on. For example you may want to cut portion sizes one week...or cut back on sugar ..or add more fruit and veggies... You make the choice - a year from now you can be healthier and skinnier or not.

Hun, I know that i'm a newbie but seriously don't lose hope! I am currently struggling through the same thing as you! And even though I break down and want to give up... I think positive and think of why i'm doing this. This is my second week and believe me its hard.. but keep on going and soon it will get easier!
Perhaps try this...don't eat after a certain time... seriously i try to eat during the day and once it 6 p.m. i dont eat. And cutting out the soda truly does help! And if you get hungry after 6, tell yourself there is always tomorrow to eat what you wanted to eat! take care and think positive!

ive lost all motivation and im sick of being fat One of those statements is not true. It could be that you're trying to do too much at once. As Orangina said, take it in small steps. It can be very easy to try to take too much on at once, but there's no better way to burn out. Try planning out your cheats, sweets and treats. For example, I have a small bowl of sugar free ice cream every night. Knowing I have that coming every night allows me to eat better during the day. If I don't feel like playing DDR one day, I don't play. I find that I feel lousy if I don't play regularly, but I give myself a day off here and there.

I work for a weight loss site.. what I tell my clients is aim for HEALTH not pounds lost... And when you aim for health you will lose pounds.
Do one thing each week ..take it slow - you can do it ..

well i thought i would update its been a long time well yea i have lost a pound lol so umm yea ive been eating really bad lol but im going to try main word try to maintain a diet lol. i mean i really need to and my g/f is really supportive to so it helps.

Keep it up! Keeping a good perspective on your progress and eating habits is half of the battle! Even if (for example) you had a terrific week and lost 2 pounds but gained 1 pound back the next week you're still 1 pound lighter than when you started your exercise and dieting routine! ;D

well its been awhile and i havent played ddr in about 2 weeks im kinda in a slump. i hate winter im always like this in the winter.so anyway lol havent lost any weight i dont think ive gain any either i think well anyway any ideas to get me out of this slump.

Try to commit to playing one set of three songs every day. Or even to play one song every day. One song, it's not a big time commitment, it's like 5 minutes, including set up and take down time. If you feel like it, stay on the pad, if you don't, you don't. But I think you'll find that you'll make time to play a little bit more if you can just get on the pad.

I find it helpful to write down the reasons I want to be thin. Whatever they are for you, they are the reason you started this journey. Keep that list close to you and when you feel unmotivated, visualize how fabulous you will be when you get to your goal.

Don't weigh yourself it will make you crazy. I have been going at this for a couple of months now and well I haven't weighed myself won't either cause I will go insane plus you may gain weight when you first start exercising cause you will get some muscles going on. any who have I cut out almost all of my meats especially red meat, And substitued all of my sugar with splenda or honey, I try not to eat out whenever possible and when I get al mopey I go look at all my idol Cosplayers and think I have to get that small so I can really show off my costumes. for those of you who don't know what cosplay is here is a defintion although most of you probably do: Cosplay is a word meaning costume and play. It is a genre of costuming generally having to do with Japanese cartoons (Anime), Comics(manga), or video games. www.cosplaylab.com
