I have had DDR and a pad for a couple of months now. It was/still is fun, but I have lessened my playtime as of recent. I am looking to find out what is the best workout in general to shed the pounds, still have fun, and become overall a healthier person. I will say that I weigh 220, and am 6ft tall. I dont really count my calories, but I cant imagine its too bad of an intake. I dont really excersize regularly either, but this does not go to say that I dont excersize at all; just not in the right amounts. So, can anyone out there steer me in the right direction with a workout regime with the game? ;D

Seriously folks, everybody's first post in this forum is the same. So why not read a little bit first?
But I will address some sepcifics for you:
Count your calories, at least for one week. You'll probably be surprised. It's easier to eat 250 fewer calories per day than to burn an extra 250 calories each day through exercise. Especially if your workouts are somewhat infrequent.

That could always work, but I like the fun of DDR. I suppose the reason I cut down on it was, for numerous reasons, but one of those being that I wasnt sure what to do in order to expect optimum results. I know that eating healthy is part of it, otherwise Id be battling myself. But, as far as the game is concerned, what is the ideal workout scenario? ie. so many minutes per so many days and that sorta thing.
