Hello everyone, I'm a college senior this year and have a goal to lose a total of 100 lbs. within 1-2 years. This year I'm going to change my life, no matter what, and I'm glad to find this forum!

You've got a good, realistic goal. 100lbs in 2 years is 1 pound per week. That's about 500 calories per day. Read up on some of the other threads and let us know if you've got questions. Oh, and welcome.

That is 500 less calories per day over what you are eating now.
Anyway you will have ups and downs on the road..but the main thing is PROGRESS NOT PERFECTION.
A year from now you can weigh the same or weigh less..even if its not 100 pounds less..the goal is to lose some weight and its your choice as to whether you accomplish that.
