Hey everyone. Im new to these forums but i have a question...
Ive always been pretty fit i guess you could say but i want abs... I am at 160lbs now and have lost 10 lbs since i started ddr... Heres my question. Will this game help tons my abs? because after a strenuous workout I do feel it all over including my stomach sometimes im just an impatient person... Has anyone here got abs because of DDR? would love to hear.
Thanks, Joe

Joe,
I have no idea if people tone their abs through DDR. At least I haven't...I still have a "beer" gut.
But it's like I always say...
"Why have a six-pack when you can have a kegger!"

I suspect if you want abs o' steel you'd have to do an ab-specific exercise. On the bright side, weight-training usually shows results pretty quickly, whereas aerobic exercise takes a lot longer.

Ok
DDR will help you lose the weight in your midsection, but it will not give you a six pack
I recommend doing crunches, about 50-100 a night, and you will get results.
Both in a combo will really get it goin

And remember, you can have the firmest abs in the world, but they can stil hide under a layer of fat. Getting your body fat percentage down will help make you look more cut all over. You won't get a six-pack just from doing crunches/situps/whatevers.
Having said that, doing ab specific exercises can help you look thinner faster. Tighter abs (and lower back muscles) help hold your stomach in better, so you look slimmer from the side. Your body will hold more of a straight line from the side, rather than the "s" curve most of us have.
