Hi Everyone,
My name is Rikki and I'm 24 years old. I bought Ultramix from Best Buy and a pad off Ebay on March 19 in an effort to improve my figure. I've been looking over this forum since then and decided to start posting today.
Here's my story: Up until about a year and a half ago I weighed in between 100 and 105. At that time, I decided to take some time off college and then about a month after that I moved out of my parents place and moved in with my boyfriend. Within 3 months after that, we had both gained weight. I gained about 25lbs and now sit at about 130lbs. I know that doesn't seem like too much weight, but I'm only 4'11" and at that height you kinda run out of places to hide it. I've been DDRing every other day ('cept last week, we had a wedding and then I caught a cold) since I bought it. I'm not really concerned to much with poundage lost as much as I am concerned with losing the pudge I've accumulated.
As an addition to my new work-out program, I've made a couple "lifestyle" changes. I switched from coffee to tea, which carries two advantages: 16 oz Mocha Lattes can be fairly fattening and at $3.25 each I should save a fortune! I also switched to light beer and cut back on my beer intake. I blame most of my weight gain on beer. After I moved in with my boy I bought more off-sale and bar-hopped less. So I just sat on the coach and drank beer (which is soooo full of calories). I'm not changing my eating habits, they've always been the same. Besides, I don't believe in dieting, Life is too short not to able to eat what you want and exercise is good for EVERYONE!!
So that's my story (hope wasn't too long and winded).
