Hey all I'm a 24 year old male who's decided to hop on the DDR fitness bandwagon. I started ddr'ing just for fun around a month ago, and bought some cheap pads online for my PS2. I found this site around 2 weeks ago and was really excited to see the results everyone is having doing DDR. I already feel tons better from doing 30 mins a day on normal mode: can't wait till I get up to heavy mode ! I ordered me a Ignition 2.0 pad last week and got it in last friday. Hopefully with the new pad and the changes i'm going to making in my diet, I can start seeing some results sooner than later !

Nice to see a fellow newbie around here, though I'm starting off as a true newbie to DDR. Standard mode in a month of play huh? Sounds promisng. I'm still in light mode and can't even make it through all the songs. Even those I do make it through are usually "C's" and "D's".
Good luck to you. If you don't mind sharing how much weight are you looking to lose, and have you lost any so far with your 30 minutes a day?

I weigh in at 225 right now, i wasn't really keeping track when i started playing but i'm guessing i've probably lost around 5lbs just from drinking more water, doing DDR several days a week and not changing my diet at all.
I'm looking to loose around 45 lbs, so far i've been happy with the results. I've trimmed up some just form the little DDR i've done.
I JUST started doing standard mode every day, and am by no means proficient at it yet , barely passing some songs and failing miserably at others would be more accurate ;D
