Hi all, my names Fraser. I took a long hard look at myself in the mirror the other night and despite my efforts to ignore it, I decided to make a concoious effort to do something about my weight. Ive started to cycle and do boxing training sorta 5 days a week (a total of around 45 mins a day). Ive been reading up on the site, and me always loving DDR, this program sounds great. Im currently doing sorta advanced standard/trick songs (Des roe, afronova, max300, A and etc.) and i can do some heavy songs (drop the bomb). I have a healthy diet, but i eat too much, im trying to cut down on that also. I just have a few questions, with my new diet and exercise, 2 questions. 1. How long is the suggested amount of hours to do DDR for each day, and how many days a week? 2. With those calculated hours how long should it take me? This sounds like the program for me, I hope i can get it to work, im 6'3" and a wopping 231 pounds im looking to lose 45-50 pounds, so around 180-185. Any help/comments/suggestions will be much appreciated -Oldhaus

I used to cycle all the time.. As you've noticed with DDR, as soon as you've finished just one song.. You're dripping with sweat.. LOL.. When I cycle, It takes me like 5-10 minutes before I even feel hot enough to produce sweat.. Anyhue.. I am not sure how long you need to play DDR in order to feel like you've accomplished something.. I would go with playing until you feel you can't play anymore (because you're just having so much fun). You might want to incorporate some weight training... Lifting weights helps big time.. It's actually easier for Guys to loozzzzz weight than it is for women.. So you will be down 45-50lbs in no time.. Good Luck to ya!!!
