Hey guys!
My name is Tiff, I bought DDR about 3 weeks ago and am totally hooked! I have lost about 30 pounds already with Weighwatchers and I plan on continuing to do that but with the added exercise of DDR! I am just in Light mode right now and up to a C, lol I suck bigtime! I am hoping the more I do it the better I'll become!!
A little bit about myself, I am 21 years old, 5'0 and about 152 pounds. I need to lose around 35 more pounds to be where I wanna be.
These forums rock, I'll be talking to you guys often!
Ciao!

Welcome Tiff! I am Dustin. I have had DDR for about 4 weeks. I learn fast though, I am on standard and can pass most songs on standard. The other day i even passed Max 300 on standard ;D I didnt have it unlocked on my xbox, but i had unlocked it at my friends. I was doing roulette on standard(by accident, was supposed to be on light) and i got Max 300. Then i realized it was on standard so i tried my hardest and beat it. I will stop rambling now ;D Good Luck in your goal Tiff.

Just keep at it, you will get better and better! I remember when I saw my first "trick" dances, they seemed totally insane and I didn't know how any human being could do them...

Keep working at it tiff it will pay off. I been playing off and on for a month now and am almost hitting A's on 5 footers. Thats a lot of movin for a big guy like me to do. =0 Also the pad you use helps a lot or hurts. I like the pads with the raised points. btw what nationality are you? I ask because we say Ciao also in Chile. (But so do italians. never know tho)

I started at Christmas time and how I could play then compared to how I can play now is amazing.
I stumbled through the first couple of weeks freaking out on the simple stuff...now I play those harder songs and I seem to remember thinking I would never be able to do them...

Tif, the only advice I can tell ya is if you can, invest in some better mats, than the ones that game with game, cause after awhile they screw upp after awhile. Plus the shock support is better with the new mats.
