Hi, everyone. ;D I'm new to the boards today and eager to trade DDR weight loss tips and tricks. Anyway, personally, I just got back into DDR. I used to be discouraged from playing because I just wasn't as good at it as any of my friends. I simply didn't have the stamina or coordination to keep up with them... or so I thought. A few weeks ago, I played some DDR at a get-together with a group of my friends and actually turned out to be evenly matched with them on Light Mode. It was enough of a kick to get me to buy Max2 and a dance pad for myself. Now, after two weeks of playing for at least an hour and a half a day, I can easily pass many standard-level courses with Cs and Bs or better. Although I don't seem to have lost much weight according to my scale, I can feel the slight difference in my waist and have even gone down a dress size since February (I recently went dress-shopping for my upcoming prom!). I'm guessing the actual pound difference isn't apparent because of gained muscle mass, but it's just a guess. ^_^ Either way, at the moment, I fluctuate between 218 and 223 pounds. I plan to lose as much weight as possible by summer's end... Ideally, at least 50 pounds... but I'd prefer much more. Unfortunately, I don't really have any idea what could possibly be an ideal (but healthy) amount of weight to lose by the end of the summer, lol. XD If anyone has any idea what could be a realistic goal, feel free to post and let me know. So yeah. DDR has given me the hope I need! I suppose I'll be wandering the forums from time to time now. Heh. See everyone around.

Good luck on your program. I also hope to lose about 50 pounds before summer ends. Just eat good and play DDR!!!
