Hey all, I just got DDR Ultramix yesterday. I saw a thing on TV about DDR and Tonya was on there. I didn't really think much about it cause I'm one of those hardcore gamers ya know. I thought oh thats just a stupid game for girly boys who wanna dance. Then I was talkin to a girl in school and she told me that this guy I know played DDR alot. This is a guy I looked up to when I was younger so that changed my thinking a little bit. I decided to go ahead and get the game. I got a RedOctane wannabe pad for 35 bux on ebay and a soft pad with the game(so i can play with friends).
Well on to my goal I weigh about 208 pounds(varies depending on if i just ate or how much water I have in me) I want to get down to 180 by the end of summer so I'm better looking for college ;D Ya I am currently a senior in high school. I also want to lose weight so I can snowboard better(broke my wrist this winter doing it, just got the cast off a week ago). Most snowboards just aren't made for 200+ pounders.
On Saturday night there is some girls coming over to play DDR with me, yay! It should be fun and I can impress them with my mad crazy dancing skills haha
I currently can get A in almost all 3 footer and pass a few 5 footers. Those darn half steps are what screws me up all the time, and jumping on 2 arrows at once if they are right and up or left and down etc. My mind just can't read them fast enough yet, but I guess I have only had the game 2 days, so I have plenty of time to improve still.
I drink lots of water while playing 'cause I get so thirsty. Thats a good thing though because before I only drank like one glass of water a day and drank lots of kool-aid and pop and such. Wow this is the longest post I have ever made anywhere. I'm not really the posting kind of person
