Been reading all these news articles saying that drinking too much water is just as bad as not having enough water.... >_< ehhhhhh I love drinking water...but now they say too much is bad for us??? WHAT IN THE HECK??? Don't stress it, cause these days it seems like everything is a ying/yang when it comes to health. Jus remembe that your body is mostly water, so a little more than normal won't hurt, as long you aren't overdoing it, like anything else, we have use common sense.. Though I know God feel sort with some of us with that

Well, after having been drinking Raspberry Crystal Light for what seems an eternity I felt compelled to go to the store and see what other flavors might float my boat. Lo and behold there was a sale on the Crystal Lights and they were sold out of all the flavors. I was devistated! So, I began to look at the Kook Aid mixes and thought to myself, "Wouldn't it be wonderful if there was Kool Aid without the calories and sugar?" And that is when I found the Sugar Free Kool Aid that has the same amount of calories/carbs/etc as Crystal Light. So now I will have a little variation in my life. I got Grape and Cherry flavors. I will probablay be opening up the Grape tonight and will let you guys know what I think.

I am new to the group but had to start somewhere! Wanted to let you all know that you should not believe all you read because it is not all true. People used to say to drink 8 glasses a day and that is fair but only if you don't have coffee, tea, fruit, vegetables or other things daily that contain water in them. 64 ounces is a good amount to go by daily but I would not push much more due to water poisoning and now that studies do show your body does not necessarily need that much H20. BTW a great way to keep up your water intake and I love to use it during DDR is a Nalgene bottle. You can get them for like $7 and 2 full ones a day is equal to 64 ounces. Just a thought.

The problem I run into Vixen.... (Welcome by the way ;D ) Is that I love water... seriously, I really love water, its 99.9% of what I drink...
It just ticks me off when you hear... "drink water its good for you. "
Then... "Ooh Wait"
Then you hear ... "eat apples"
Then you hear.... "dont eat apples"
For crying out loud people... stop doing studies... one way or another everything we eat and do could kill us... lol

I totally know where you are coming from but I do know the risks because I work in the medical field. Water is really the only beverage I drink with the exception of a glass of milk once in a while. I was just trying to say to not over do it.

I remember a while back, that there was a guy in college who was drinking gallons of water in an attempt to join Alpha Phi Alpha, at Southern Methodist University. How many gallons he drank was unknown.. But he was hospitalized for this and suffered water intoxication .. As quoted from SMUdailycampus.com,
This says something.. Water can be great for you, but like everything else, it's good for you in moderations.. Overdoing anything, can kill you..

I was just trying to say to not over do it. ;D I think I do ok... I drink about 64 ounces a day. Would that be considered too much or ok? I think what grinds my nerves the most is trying to determine what is moderation? It is obviously so very different for each person.... and when they do not post reccomendations with their story... the reader, in my case me, is left wondering "Ok now what?"

64 ounces is great and it is the max that I have ever heard a physician recommend innless you are running in a marathon. There is someone who died at college during a hazing for water poisoning. I think what we are all trying to say is just don't drink gallons a day! I drink 64 usually, sometimes a bit less sometimes if I am slacking. At least 32 during DDR! ;D
