I was at 187 with a 43lb loss, that is until the weekend came. Now I'm back up to 192. d**n weekends with nothing to do but snack. During the week, I'm okay, but when those weekends come around, my stomach takes over. It's no wonder why it seems like I don't change in weight sometimes. Perhaps I should DDR more during the week to help with the weight loss. That would certainly counter the effects of the weekend snackathon. It's either that or hide all the food in the house. I think DDR-ing during the week is easier.

DevilHunterWolf, I know what you mean. I always want to always munch on something, but i found something that helps me alot. Just chew gum! seriously it been working great for me. I used to midnight munch ALOT during the course of the week, but i just chew some gum and I am fine. Did that this past weekend and i did no munching during meals. If your not the partial to gum, try ice. I have sensitive teeth so i stay away from ice. Seriously chew gum......

its been exactly 1 week since my diet started.... down another lb. totaling a 7 lb loss.
my ideas for avoiding over snacking is when i start to head to the kitchen looking for something sugary, fatty, salty to eat I stop myself by heading to my DDR. find something to occupy you. read a book, play a game, leave the house completely. go for a walk!!
and if your absolutely starving for a snack-- keep some cut up veggies in the fridge and eat those. i know i hate veggies but they are good for you!

HI JAPGUY isnt it amazing what a little activity and eating right can do for your self esteem and how great it can make you feel! A little trick I use for getting in some leafy greens is I always put lettuce in my sandwiches. I dont use iceberg lettuce because there are hardly any nutrients in it. I am gladyou found the support you were looking for here.. definately keep us posted on how your doing. Just knowing there are other people trying to conquer the same thing as you are helps so much! I know you will reach your goal with your positive attitude!

been on a kinda bummer streak...freakin out about not losing anything... so instead of still trying...sorta giving up...
but seeing Japguy lose those 6lbs in a week...wow... i want to see results like that...
so.. i have decided to move my working out to the mornings...less chance of me skipping it...and doing yoga after work for relaxation... so... then when i am just kickin it after work... it is more relaxing... instead of being mad at myself for not working out...
*sigh*... here we go again...
i am giving myself until April 1st to get this rutine down and stick to it!!
*hugs to all*
