I play heavy myself, but I'm wondering what you guys play. Don't be shy!

At home I play standard, only because of the style of my house and that it cannot handle me jumping around (stuff will fall from my desk, pier and beam). But at the arcades all I play is Heavy.

I play heavy myself, but since i've kind of gotten out of DDR shape I can't play too many heavy songs in a row without throwing some standard in there.

Heavy is the only way to go! Shows that you're a pro Well you can be good at heavy and not be a pro. The only thing good about playing heavy is the crowd you will get. Believe me, it is not easy to AAA some of the easiest songs.

I'm still on standard. Workout steps off (yay!) but no freeze arrows.
I don't care that it's taking time, either. That just means I have more room to up my workout when I get too used to the current routine.

Standard on metal pad; heavy on soft pad, because scoring is easier on soft pad - your steps don't have to be as accurate.
Scoring an A on my metal pad is definitely harder and takes more enefty than scoring an A on the same song on soft.

I play heavy, despite the fact that this forum says that I'm a beginner (I just don't know how to change that). I have been playing heavy for about a month now and can pass many with A's and B's. The harder ones i get a C or D depending on difficulty.

The "beginer mode" under your name is just a title given to users based on their post count. In time, with your participation on the board, that will change. It is not, nor is it meant to be, a reflection of your DDR skills.

I started in January and I'm a slow learner. I was on beginner for a long time but now I'm a light/standard. Standard is really hard for me but I figure if I play DDR for an hour a night I think I can get onto standard soon right?
