problem with triolinker plus

hello everyone...new to this forum....hi everyone. anyways. onto my problem.


i just got a triolinker plus in the mail. so today i tried hooking up my ps2 controller up to it, and all works fine in the configuration utility. all of the button presses/analog sticks register and show up on the screen, however none of the games i try let it work with any games/apps i run.

i first tried need for speed underground 2 by mapping each ps2 key to the appropriate one on the keyboard, however nothing happened in the game.

next i tried stepmania (i'm getting a pad this week), by setting it on dance mode and just trying using the d-pad. still no luck.

what am i doing wrong? it must be a problem with the software/i'm doing something wrong. again, all of the button presses/etc register in the utility. i mean, if all shows up fine in the configuration utility, then why wouldn't it work?

i'm using version 3.9 drivers by the way.

I know absolutely nothing about the triolinker, but it's sounds like you need to select the proper gamepad device in the options menu of the games you're playing.
