Hi! I'm using stepmania and a dance pad from www.gameasylum.comWhen I step on the pad, its leds light up, but stepmania doesn't react. What could be the problem? Regards Johan |

Did you go into stepmania's setup and configure it to use the pads? (controller options)

Did you go into stepmania's setup and configure it to use the pads? (controller options) I've tried to find an option that has to do with pad, but found zero. How exactly do I configure it to use pads? Couldn't find any menu in StepMania called controller options. |

make sure the Pad is plugged in, and pess Start+Select and the Up arrow at the same time. Hold it for 3 seconds than get off.
Go to Options -> Joy Config
Now click on say where it was Left Arrow, hit enter on the keyboard, than hit the left arrow on the pad.
repeat for all other arrows on the pad, and start/select/etc.

I have another problem however.
My dance pad doesn't have the center button.
Can I configure stepmania
so that the center button doesn't appear in the game?

I think you have it set up to pump it up as the game, and not DDR. I don't know where to go to change that though... check the options
