Sites that sort files

I'm not requesting specific files, however as a beginner I'm wondering if there are any sites that sort files based on difficulty rather than just tossing out a random collection of songs?

Having never played before I'm finding there is about one song I've found so far that seems to be at my ability level, yet I'd like to find more to keep some variety until I get better.

Part of this may be a function of the adapter I got, I found out my adapter suffers from the joystick axis issue, I'm going to be replacing that, but I think part of that is still my utter lack of ability and physical fitness

Pretty much any sit eyou find will be sorted by the mix the songs are from. From MAX2 on, the songs should all have beginner mode, which is the easiest difficulty.

Right, but does any site actually rank those files? I find even on beginner mode that the songs I've found so far ( just got about 6 new packs to go through) seem to vary greatly in required ability.

None that I know of, and once you get outside song packs that come from official mixes, you get into some very odd territory...
