I have recently installed stepmania with good success so far, but I have just noticed that a handful of songs didn't load into the program. I checked to see if all the files were there and they were missing the music files so I downloaded them and added them to the song files. To me it looks like all of the files are in the folder. I have hidden songs turned to "off", so all of the songs will show up. Are there certain songs that only play for roulette? What might be my problem?

Do your song file names match what the program is looking for for that song? Check the MUSIC line in the .sm file for the song. Or, if it's DWI file type, make sure the song file name is the same as the DWI file name.

same thing happened to me. what i did was in the song folder in the program folder i added another song folder in the song folder. then i transfered the song folders inside it. if your problem isnt solved just try this at least once.  |
