I recently purchased the super dual box dance pad adapter for use with stepmania. The problem is that I have not been able to get it to work right. It registers up, down, left, and right, but doesn't seem to want to do up down or right left combinations. It always does the up right and up left combos ok but not the other 2. What is the problem here...am I mapping the buttons correctly? Are you supposed to use the "dedicated" buttons or something? I am confused and need help. Is their problems with this adapter?  |

When you plug it in hold Start+select+up for 3 seconds.

When you plug it in hold Start+select+up for 3 seconds. exactly  there should be an instructional paper telling you this in the package atleast my SmartJOY PS/2 adapter did. (should this topic be stickied? it seems many people have this problem.) |

Yeah, this is written on the packaging, but I had tried this with no results. I will try again when I first plug it in and see if it helps. Thanks.

I'm also having a problem with this adapter, though it is slightly different. The adapter goes into dance mode just fine, but after a while, it randomly goes out of dance mode (usually in the middle of a song). Any suggestions?

I've tested all the USBs (front and back), both ports on the adapter, uninstall/reinstall...i think that's it

Nope, all the buttons work fine. Like I said, everything works for a while. Then it'll suddenly stop working and ill hit in the code and itll work again.
