New Pad Need Help

I just got a new 250$ pad here is the link

it seems like half the time the buttons dont work. I.E. slow reponse(1/8th barely read) and misses on all the double arrows.

i'm using the Smart joy adaptor.

The misses on all double arrows are probably because you haven't put your adapter in Dance Mode. Hold down Start+Select+up for three seconds, and see if that works.

yeah I keep getting the same answer, i've been using this adaptor with my old pad i knew i had to do that first it just seems laggy and iresponsive.. I hate this, this sucks

As for the lag, you may see if the contacts are corroded. You'll have to take apart the pad (At least one arrow) and inspect the interior.

I'm using the significantly cheaper Playstation pad with an adapter, and had the same problem at first. Try going to input options and changing the wheel speed to the "fastest" setting. This worked for me.
