I use SM on a mac, works great... actually from what I can tell it runs better on a mac (higher frame rates). I run it on a G4 DP 1.25 ghz with a gig of ram and a radeon 9000. Using panther and latest build of SM. I have never experienced any problems.
Edit: It also runs on my old slow ass G3 350mhz with 512 MB ram with Jaguar (osx 10.2) So she should have no problems.

Yeah I've been playing SM on my iMac G4 with 17lcd and haven't had no problems with it at all. I love it! My question that I want answered has anyone found a good convertor so that I can use my redoctane ignition playstation 2 pad on my mac?? I have heard a lot of rumors about there being bads on the market, and was wondering if anyone knows of one that works fine. I have around 200 songs downloaded for the mac version and using the arrow keys gets old. I wanna use the pad.

Question I've just received my PS-PC USB 2.0 Convertor adaptor for Peecee and Mac. I'm using 10.2.2 and the adaptor is able to be picked up in the back of the machine, but how do I get ddr to recognize the pad when I play DDR?? Any help would be great. I'm running 1 gig ram and 10.2.2. thanks
