Anyone getting Xbox 360?

Was wondering if any one here is getting one? And what game/games you plan on getting?

I am getting the $400 system with Quake IV. So I have been selling stuff on ebay and so far have about $218 payed off, and more ebay stuff to sell.

I'm actually not planning on it. Especially first wave... it's starting to be commonly known NOT to buy consoles within the first 4-5 months of shipment... because you'll be buying a new one within a year or so.

Anyhoo, I'm probably sold for the Revolution... all you have to say is "Download old SNES and NES games," and I'm yours.

Well I will probably get that too. All I have to say is new NiGHTS game as a launch title!!!!!!!!

I also will be getting a Rev at launch( I loves the Nintendo) and I will be getting a 360 but I'm going to wait toward April-June, I won't buy first revisions of anything but Nintendo products(Nintendo has a 1 year warranty vs. the standard 90 day for Microsoft). I'll let them work the bugs(like the disk stability issues) out first. Then I'll pick one up, nab some cheap used games from Gamefly and hammerdown.

I got the xbox 360 a couple nights ago and quake 4, omg awesome game and the 360 is amazing! I love playing it on xbox live

I hear there is some slowdown issues in a few areas on Q4 on the 360(Which is a real shame given that this is a next gen system) but since the Raven guys are from WI I'll let it slide.

I havnt had any down time, myn has ran fine. I have playd about 15 games now and it has ran smooth idk if anyone else has? This is the best system I have ever owned. I can charge my ipod while playing my games and listen to music from it at the same time. The dashboard is really cool you can control when you want the game to play sighn into xbox live ect. You can turn the xbox on and off with the controller and myns wireless so yea I just got 10 times lazier. It is a really great system, I was skepticale of it at first evem though I am a xbox person but soon as I plugged it in and seen the quake 4 graphics and all the features I was sold!

I was playing live tonight and my guy froze up and I couldnt do nothing but get shot. But the rest of the time it was fine

I REFUSE to buy a 360 because, 1) the price is too high for a "starving" college student, 2) too many bugs have been found in the first released 360s, 3) I have WoW, thats all I ever need...

Actually, more bugs have been found in certain generations of ipods than the 360. And its only a specific manufacturing date that has had the bugs in the 360s.

After buying the boyfriend an Xbox for Christmas, we might hold off for a while...

Once we get a 360 when it's a flip of a lot cheaper, we might use the old one as a dining table.

Lol, I picked up a copy of PGR3 today and the graphics are Jizzariphic, its cool how they gave everyone in the stands there own look and they all have diffrent motions not one of them are the same like most games. Quake 4 I dont want ruin it for anyone who plans on getting it but I was suprised today at what happened in the story mode. I still havnt beat it yet to hung up on live. Today was awesome I managed to get a one on one battle with some guy so I could sneak around. It was awesome I just used the shot gun the whole time and I would sneak around his back and blow him to pieces. I heard the acceleration pad go off and soo I turned my back the guy was airborn right in front of me well untill agian I blew him to pieces lol.

I had Q4 and know which part you are talking about. I never beat it, but got pretty far, and never played it anymore (FFXI addiction) so I sold it.

Yea, I seem to be loosing interest in it. I dont know why I just dont feel like playing the story mode much anymore. I have spent about 400 in the last week on games and accesories. What are some other good games, I heard call of duty 2 was fun, im probally going to pick up a copy of that tommorrow or wednesday.

COD2 is amazing (make sure to play the single player on Veteran) PGR3 is very fun as well.
