I found a small glitch in U2... when playing, about a dozen times the results screen will tell me I got one grade then when I go to the song selection screen it will tell me I got a grade lower. Has anyone else had this problem? IE, I'll play a song and it will tell me I got an A, then when the screen changes it says I got a B for the same song. Hmm...

You had more points when you got a B than when you got an A. It keeps the grade for the highest score you got.

Unfortuately no, the score is figured off one formula (step grade * step number in a combo) where grade is figured off of another formula (%prefect, number of good boo miss). SO you could have a song where you danced the first 300 steps perfect, but booed the last 10 steps, and you'd potentially have a beter score than if you hit 310 straight greats.

Yea that makes sense. It's driving me crazy though lol. On another sort of related topic, I've noticed that when I step off freeze arrows and get an N.G. my combo still keeps going... is that supposed to happen? IE, I'll have a 22 combo and I'll incomplete a freeze arrow but then when I hit the next step it goes on to 23... I still have a lot to learn  |

I believe the line of thinking when freeze arrows were introduced is that they didn't want to cramp the style of the freestylers, while still presenting challenges for the steppers. |

those freeze arrows totally screw with me - on some songs, anyway. good thing bout the continue combo, tho |
