I could post in several threads, but I decided to make just one instead.
First off, I got Ultramix 2 tonight and my converter cables for my CF are on the way.
Second, has anyone else noticed that there's a LOT more 8-foot ratings on Ultramix 2 than other games? It seems they're breaking the mold for Heavy and making them more difficult. I went through the songs with my controller... blah. Of course I didn't save.
Third, if there's anyone who gets on Live a lot and is pretty good, 8-9 foot (almost got MaxX...) that want to play me, just leave me your gamertag or PM me, I would give out my gamertag but I don't trust some people.
Finally, I take back my statement on a previous Ultramix 2 songlist thread that Love is dreaminess is the hardest 9 footer, I guess they changed it since the old simfile I had before it was a published DDR game.

What I dont get is some 6 foot songs are easy as heck to me, and some others are hard as heck.

I read somewhere that the Ultramix 2 ratings are a bit low on songs new to DDR in this edition (a 6 is as hard as older 7's, etc). Songs which previously appeared in other DDR versions, or are in songpacks 1-6, will be easier at the same foot ratings. Though, I'm still only up to 4 footers on Light (going to start trying Standard regularly soon), so what do I know?

Wanna know what's funny? I was going to recommend that you contact She Screamed Claudio because I knew you were getting DDR-U2 soon. Now I'm laughing because it was you who posted! When I get up to the 8-footers, I'll try playing with you. Until then, I'm going to keep sweating to the 4-footers.

I can play the easier songs, it's not that I always have to play Heavy.

The songs on standered and heavy seem harder to me than the standered and heavy songs on Ultramix.
But the light songs seem way easier, this time.
All this talk, now I'm going to go play ;D

I'll play you when I get my converter box.

My theory was correct. Ultramix 2 has a significantly higher number of 8's than the rest of the American DDR games... I didn't count Ultramix.
I only counted single feet ratings... only on Heavy, also. This took me a while and it's 1:35 in the morning, so percentages are not rounded, but are close nonetheless. Numbers are near accurate.
[glow=red,2,300]Ultramix 2[/glow]
10 = 3 9 = 10 8 = 31 7 = 15 6 = 7 5 = 4
70 songs ::: 4% 10 footers 14% 9 footers 44% 8 footers 21% 7 footers
[glow=red,2,300]Extreme[/glow]
10 = 1 9 = 11 8 = 18 (I counted Do Me as an 8.) 7 = 31 6 = 10 5 = 0
71 songs ::: 1% 10 footers 15% 9 footers 25% 8 footers 43% 7 footers 14% 6 footers
[glow=red,2,300]Max 2[/glow]
10 = 1 9 = 10 8 = 20 7 = 27 6 = 6 5 = 5
69 songs ::: 1% 10 footers 14% 9 footers 28% 8 footers 39% 7 footers 8% 6 footers 7% 5 footers
[glow=red,2,300]Max[/glow]
10 = 1 9 = 11 (I counted Gradiusic Cyber as a 9.) 8 = 23 7 = 30 6 = 4 5 = 3
72 songs ::: 1% 10 footers 15% 9 footers 31% 8 footers 41% 7 footers 5% 6 footers 4% 5 footers
