Hey there, I'm a DDR Noob, and needed a little help.
I got DDR shortly after seeing it at a party and had to have it because it's such a fun workout. Since then I've gotten pregnant but try to do a little DDR to keep up cardio. I have Ultramix2 and love, love, love it.
So my question. I'm still playing at "beginner" level, but now that I'm 6 months pregnant, I can't do any 'air'. I try to pick low 'air' songs, but even those have the occasional jumps. At this point I'm just doing my own moves on the jumps and sucking up the 'Boos'. But I'd really like to change it.
I've tried going to edit mode, but for some silly reason it doesn't give me the option alter beginner steps (only the others)... I'm willing to start from scratch if I have to if only I could find Step Charts for the Beginner Ultramix 2 songs.
Anyone know where I might find these? So far I haven’t had luck (for beginner mode). Also any alternate suggestions are also welcome.
In the meantime, I'll be the local Boo Machine, while I have fun stepping away in spite of it.
The baby is due Mid April, and I'm looking forward to using DDR to get the 'baby weight' off and then some!

IIRC, the beginner steps are auto generated from the light steps, so the step chart varies from mix to mix. Let me see if I can find some options to reduce jumps in songs.

The easiest way to enjoy Ultramix 2 without a bunch of jumping-up-and-down would be to use its Workout mode-- I believe that mode does not "fail" you no matter what steps you miss, and you could just tap one foot for the jumps when they come up.
