hey people,
i got an xbox, and ultramix version 1 about 2 months ago - and i play almost every day.
and i can do all the 3-4 footers on light, but thats about it.
last week i was at an arcade and saw DDR, so i played it - and i KICKED ASS. it was SO MUCH easier than the xbox.
wtf?? is ultramix-2 easier? why is xbox so much freakin harder than the arcade? when my friends come over, none of them can play at all b/c it's too hard.
THIS SUCKS!!!!!

Ultramix 2 has a much wider Perfect window, but then it has much stricter jump windows. So, it's easier to pass songs, but harder to get full combos.
Overall, however, both UM1 and UM2 are harder than any of the PS2 mixes. (This is my subjective opinion, by the way.)

Ultramix 2 is WAY EASIER because it has a lot of 2 and 3 footer songs. My biggest problem is that were only a couple of songs on Ultramix 1 that were easy and I was sick of playing those two songs over and over.
U2 also has the beginner level, which makes it great for people who are learning to play. It's worth it to buy it. When you're a pro, you'll be glad that Ultramix is hard because you'll have a challenge long after you would have dusted the Playstation games.

Just remember that if you're going to buy the song packs, buy them from UM1. That way they're usable in both 1&2. Apparently if you buy them through UM2, you can't use them in 1.
